Fall

With Ella's arrival coupled with the changing of seasons , I seem to have lost track of time. The days are flying by (the nights are dragging) and it seems that the boys are changing faster than the temperature. I wanted to take a few pictures tonight to capture how we have been spending our time in between feedings and naps. Tommy purchased a new toy today that has made leaf piles even bigger- a leaf blower! He is clutching it in the background of the below photo. Tonight he made a huge pile for Tyler and Carson to play in and it kept them entertained for some time.

Another thing we have been noticing is our changing view of the mountains. With the leaves falling, we are getting an incredible view of Clingman's Dome from our back yard).

And finally my new favorite family past time is the campfire. Tommy built a modest fire pit in our back yard. We have spent the last several nights either around it star gazing, telling stories or making smores. It is so dark at our house at night with no street lights within a mile. Last night Tyler and I took his telescope into the field and looked for over an hour. So that is how we have been spending our time. A little bit of stars, foliage and chocolate.
